New to the forum and to smoking!

Hiya Everyone!

I just got my first smoker! Im very excited.

I got the 2 door master forge propane smoker from lowes.

I seasoned it according to the directions in the box.

I Purchased apple chips hickory chips and oak chips

next will be a good digital thermometer was thing one with dual probes.

Bought a great book on BBQ with a ton of tips and tricks and great recipes.

I will post in another thread how my first smoking experience worked out. LOL

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself

Hey Robert! i am a newbie here too joined just last week and wanted to share with you after reading your post about a digital thermometer i am looking at getting myself. i posted one here you might like to look at. it is a Taylor weekend warrior remote probe digital thermometer. so glad to be apart of this forum and all the great ideals, recipes, product reviews, and am loving it all! and how i found this forum was looking for a good recipe to smoke my first Boston Butt and now am for sure hooked and man oh man can't wait to smoke some blocks of cheese when cooler weather comes my way. again loving this smokingmeat forum thank you, thank you very much!
