New to the forum, and new to smoking meat

    Hello all, my name is Isaac. 

    I am new to the forum, and new to smoking meats. I just purchased my first smoker ( and i am looking forward to using it this weekend. 

    a little about me, I live north of seattle, in washington state. I am a avid fisherman, and hunter. I am on the river, or in the woods every chance i get. 

    I work apartment maintenance for a apartment community. It is stable work and I enjoy the "handy man" job. 

    I look forward to getting to know everyone a little better.

    This site has tons of info.

    I suggest you spend some time reading all the different forums and the WIKIs.

    Today im going to attempt a whole turkey. First time attempting, but i have read a lot about doing it, so i think i have a good idea.
