I love to cook & both my husband & I love to eat! Decided this year on vacation to invest in a smoker & try to recreate some of our favorite BBQ meats! We're going to try our had at it over the Fourth. We're thinking ribs, chicken, and maybe a brisket or pork butt. Any goof proof recipes or tips? Where do we start? We have a Masterbuilt propane smoker & live in northern NH. Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks so much. I have to do a few mods to my old charbroil offset smoker which i refurbished. I am going to try with a charcoal basket first however so that I can better manage temp. So far, it has cooked pretty well, just being difficult maintaining temp. I also just picked up a bag of Royal Oak lump coal, I hear that's better to smoke with vs regular kingsford.
