New To Smoking

  1. Hello, 

           I have recently purchased a Cajun Injector 30in. Electric Smoker. I have used charcoal smokers in the past, but only twice. So  I am still green when it comes to smoking. I am really excited to learn new things and to be able to smoke some really good food. I live in Hueytown, Alabama and have always experimented with my own rubs and sauces.

  5. Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
    About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
    and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
    We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
    Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
    because their are so many different ways to make great Q...

  6. Thanks for the welcome. I smoked ribs the other day and they came out great so I can not wait till this weekend to smoke my wife some shrimp. Any suggestions on seasoning or wood I should use?
