New to the smoking world and have been checking out the site. My name is Kyle and I am living in Utah at Hill AFB. I am originally from Texas so I love smoked food but have been away from home while I've been in the military. I just bought a Smoke Vault 24 and plan to break it in soon. Any suggestions for first smoke? Thanks in advance for all the help.

Kyle, welcome to SMF.  Thank you for your service!  We have a warm spot in our hearts for those who are serving or have served.

Enjoy the new Protein Transformation Device.  Start with something easy like brats, chicken parts, or even a pork butt.  They may not come out perfect but they'll be better than anything you can buy in a restaurant.

We're glad you're here.

Happy Smoking,

Ray
