Hello Everyone,
I live in NV, just south of Las Vegas. I've been grilling for many years, but just decided that I wanted to try my hand at smoking meats and more. Maybe I watch BBQ Pitmasters too often. I'm going to buy a Smoke Hollow 47180T tomorrow. I've read they're decent for the price and it will allow me to consolidate a propane grill with a wood/charcoal smoker. It will be an early Father's Day present from my wife and kids. I'm very new to smoking and slow cooking meats so any advice will be helpful. I'll read through the threads and see what I can find. I've already learned a lot by scrolling through the forums.

Thanks!

Good morning and welcome from East Texas. Allow plenty of time, smoke something simple for your first time or two. That way you can get the feel of your new smoker. Just enjoy and have a good time.
