I'm from Chattanooga, Tn. Got my first Smoker (Smoke Hollow) for Christmas and I am eager to learn as much as possible. Loved cooking on coals on a grill. This is my first experience with slow and smoke.

If you're new to slow and smoke, sign up for the 5 day on-line course.  It has great info for the beginning smoker.  You'll also find an incredible bunch of talented and willing to share folks here on SMF.

Can't wait to see your first efforts with your new smoker.   P.S.  we normally say low and slow but I like yours better.  Here's to slow and smokey!  Slow and smokey,  HeHe,  My wife calls me that all the time when I'm drinking a couple of beers and making  BBQ

First off welcome to SMF. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
