Hi everyone - I recently purchased a Brinkmann Trailmaster LE.  I'm having a heck of a time installing the legs with the wire rack.  Wanted to see if anyone has ran into this issue.

I'm looking forward to smoking some pork butt but need to get my Brinkmann assembled.  :)

Thanks,

Paul

Glad to have you with us!

I'm not familiar with that smoker, but I'm sure someone who has one will be along to help you.

Welcome aboard!

I DID have that same smoker. I also had ALOT of problems with it too. I'm not all that handy myself, but after working the legs for along time it ended up lopsided? Still worked with it though cause I really loved the style & thickness of it, but it only got worse for me. MANY leaks throught the lid & under the firebox where the cleanout is. Was going through fuel like crazy?  I know there are others on here that had success with it, but I ended up taking mine back & thankfully they took it!

Hey Raptor.  I too just bought the TMLE and had a similar issue.  As another mentioned, leave the legs slightly loose until you get all of the scews aligned then hand tighten.  Once that is done go back and tighten them again with your screw driver.  You'll probably run into the same situation with the fire box as well.  Good Luck!
