Hello All, Going to be getting a Masterbuilt, 30" smoker for Christmas from the spousal unit. It will be my first smoker, I can do alot on the grill, but never tried anything on a smoker. A little about myself. I am a retired U.S. Marine, currently working as a letter carrier for a Post Office in Fort Worth, TX. I am an avid Bass fisherman. I have two trips scheduled this year so far to Lake Fork. I will be asking lots of questions, once I get the smoker set up and working. Plan on getting a couple of pieces of meat to try out on Christmas day once I get it put together and seasoned, maybe a pork butt. Look forward to joining in on some of the discussions.
