Good afternoon. I am new to the website and fairly new to smoking in general. My family and I live in south east Wisconsin. The weather is starting to get cold but that will not stop the smoker from firing up. I have done some pork shoulder, briskets, ribs, ABT, fatties, ect... I built my own offset barrel smoker and must say it works fairly well since I really didn't know much about smokers.

I really want to thank all of you out there with the information that you post. It is extremely helpful to rookies like me. I do look forward to reading your posts and advice. Once again thanks for all of you help and I look forward to posting my own experiences.  Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

Thank you,

Jim

Welcome to SMF! This place is the best and everyone here is willing to help. Ive learned so much from the posts here and seeing how people use their smokers. I suggest taking Jeff's ecourse. Its free and it helped me a lot. Now you just need to post some Qview and you are set!
