Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on here for all the helpful topics. I recently bought a masterbuilt xl smoker, added a cast iron pan, replaced the original water pan with an aluminum drip pan. bought a pork butt and seasoned her up the night before, set the smoker to 250-260 deg. Started with hickory chunks and finished it with apple. Oh man I think I might be hooked! Pulled pork sandwiches, pulled pork nachos, pulled pork enchiladas. So good! Thumbs Up Thanks again everyone! can't wait to do some more smoking!

Nice job on the cook, I'd eat it in a heartbeat.
