Hi everyone my name is Casey.  As the title implies I am new to the forum but I am not so new to smoking meats.  I bought a cheap charcoal smoker from lowes to see if this would be something I would continue with and enjoy.  I was instantly hooked when I smoked my first whole chicken and decided after that to get a propane smoker for the ease and convenience of temperature control.  I live in Bellingham Washington and I have been smoking for a little over a year now.  Nice to see all the friendly tips and advice that everyone shares.  I believe that is the greatest gift we can produce is sharing our knowledge and not saying "This is a secret family recipe that I won't share"  We all seem to love smoking so lets just be the best that we can be.

Thanks

Casey

Hello! I was raised in Vancouver, BC and my parents used to take me shopping in Bellingham all the time.

I only started smoking last fall and wasn't having much success until I found this forum. There is so much information in the posts and the experienced members are so generous with their advice. I am sure you will enjoy the forum as much as I have.
