Hello All

My name is Josh and I live in Portland, Oregon. I have been bbqing with a Kamado style grill for the past few years and just recently took the plunge to a stick burner. I found a used Pitts and Spitts off craigslist for $150. I have done 2 cooks on this beast already. I am very happy with it but I can tell that there is a bit of a learning curve with cooking times and fire maintenance. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hello from a fellow Oregonian, we are south of Eugene. These guys around here have loads of information and are happy to share with anyone. The smokers section of sub-forums has a section for stick-burners that should be a pretty interesting read!

Welcome!!

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from another hot day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
