Forgot to tell ya all I am a meat cutter who decided after a number of years to break down and buy a smoker and the grinder and we are going to have with this !! I love to hunt and I know of a whole mess of things you can do with venison and a smoker , not to mention just meat in general . I hope I made the right choice as to the purchase of the lem 20 lb smoker can't wait to get my mitts on it ..
 
Ed, this is a COLD Smoker...Anything going in must be Cured...Like Bacon, Ham and Smoked Kielbasa....Then smoked for long hours...You Can't do Regular Ribs, Pulled Pork of BBQ Brisket in this...Just Checking...JJ

I think its the 1000 watt electric smoker I know how to make a cold smoker out of nothing I meade sure I was getting what I wanted for my money !!
 
Ok cool the 20lb from Sears has a 100W element...I didn't know how Green you might have been so I thought I'd check...Looking forward to your Expert Input...JJ

Yea I wanted electric due to the cost of propane around here and didn't want to try my hand with charcoal just yet . Just set it and go for now hope to go a little bigger in a couple years then maybe charcoal be nice to build one from brick with a dutch oven hanger on the side !!
 
Now what about supplies as far as casings and cure ? Does everyone order from links off here or is there a cheaper place to shop ??
