I have a used fuel oil tank that I want to turn into a smoker. I would love to have your photos and input on how to design the smoker. I would love for it to be versitil and over the top.

I have just finish building a food truck and my skills are honed.

I have sat down with my father inlaw and we have these ideas. Front of tank opens down instead of usual up. This way dripping will not go on ground and you have a work space. I would also like this tank to be a caja China roaster as well as smoker so would need to design so would be able to operate as both.

I want this to look appealing to the eye in appearances.

Please send photos and ideas. And I will start planning my build.

Welcome to the board! Lots of builders here, they can advise you. It might help if you submit design ideas and let people make recommendations.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a pretty nice day in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Sorry I'm a little late
