New to forum.

    Hello. New guy from CT. I'm starting a new project this week. Primarily for smoking whole pigs. I have a 60" x 44" x 27" tank. Was planning on laying it flat on a trailer. RF with a 24" square Fire box. I used Feldons cAlculator for everything.
    I was thinking 1/4" double wall for the firebox. Filled with sand. Any opinions on this?

    Thank you for the welcomes. Question time. I have everything designed so far, but one thing holding me up is the chimney depth. What are people's opinions on how low into the cook chamber should I place the chimney?
     
  5. Hi Lerch, best would be for you to start another thread in the Smoker build section. Not everybody who can help you are likely reading roll call.
