Hello Everyone!

I just joined this forum after seeing all of the great post when I was searching for info on TBS.

A little background on me, I'm a food and outdoors lover born and currently living in Northeast Ohio. I have a large background professionally in food but one area that i never practiced much even though it's one of my favorites is BBQ and Smoking. I recently Purchased an Oklahoma Joe Highlander off set smoker and I'm currently working on adding the Mods to it that I wanted. After a lot of research I thought with the proper mods it would make a great smoker for a learning Novice like myself without breaking the bank (i'll save that for down the road after i get better). I've used mostly Electric smokers in the past and even though they are convenient and make a good product, I was ready for something more hands on and versatile.

I'm very excited to join this forum and get the chance to learn from everyones shared knowledge and experience. Hopefully as I learn and progress I may be able to help someone else out too! I look forward to chatting with everyone!
