New Texan Sausage Maker

    Hey All,

    Just want to say this is a great site and I have found so many answers to my questions. I am a first time sausage maker this year so we will see how it goes. I already have made 10 lbs of summer sausage so we will see how it turns out tomorrow. I live in the DFW area and have hunted my whole life. I have 3 deer that I want to grind up into different sausages and see where I can go with that. I got tired of paying someone else to do something that I can do and its turned out pretty fun so far. Again thank you for the site and the wealth of knowledge  here.

    Welcome to the forum Garrett, I have found a lot of good help here.

    I also just started making sausages myself, have made two badges of summer sausages and will make bratwurst this weekend :)
