Hey guys(and gals)...looking for a offset stick burner, just the basics, 2 dampers, cool touch handles, thermometer, etc, but I'm looking for one (hopefully in Texas) that is around 7-$800. 1k would be the max. I can mod it myself, but hoping someone can throw out some names for me . Anything suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  3. Go to Academy and look at the Old Country BBQ Pits brand.  They are pretty good, and you can get eyes on them before you buy.  The Wrangler is 500.00 with 940something cubes.  Has 3/8 lid, and stack exiting the center of the pit instead of near the top.  Huge firebox, and sturdy construction.  24" diameter.  The Pecos is longer, but only 20" diameter, and thinner steel.(1/8)  It is 400.00.

You can check out pics of the Wrangler in my profile.
