Hello everyone I'm new to the Forum and neuter smoking I haven't been smoking for long just got my first smoker and I'm going to try a brisket soon there was a hurricane here so the only would I have available is mango I read on one of the topics that is pretty good smoke so that's what I'm going to use wish me luck

Skyflorecords, welcome to SMF!  Glad you're here and using your first smoker.

Mango wood?  Here's the link to a past discussion on the forum.  As long as you are not allergic to poison ivy or poison oak, it appears to be okay to smoke.  Personally, I can't eat mangos or anything that comes in touch with them.  I'm very allergic.  Thankfully mango wood and the smoke is nothing I have to deal with here in NorCal, just actual poison ivy, oak, and imported mango fruits.

Enjoy the forum!

Ray

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a warm muggy day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web.   Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.
