Hey guys, I have been reading the boards for a few weeks and deciced I needed to join. I live in Bixby, Ok and I love to do most things outdoors. I am new to this, in fact I don't even have a smoker yet, but will soon. I am going to start with an Oklahoma Joe's Wild West Traditions smoker in the next month or so. I do alot of grilling and have assited on some smokes, but never have done an entire smoke myself. I brought home some smoked turkey a friend of mine cooked and my wife tried it and said......"why don't you do this?" That is all I needed, I have been looking at smokers since that day. I am going to start with the above smoker and go from there. I am sure I will want to upgrade in the future from the looks of the board. Anyway, this looks to be a great resource and I am sure I will have plenty of questions.

See you on the boards.
