Hello there I'm Greg and I have an addiction to smoked meats. There that's the 1st steo. Just bought my 1st smoker albeit an propane smoker. Live in Virgimia by the sea. Smoked some ribs 2 weeks ago turned out ok for first time without a adequate thermometer. Wife loved them so hey a success. Happy wife happy life. Going after Pork Butts tomorrow as I have family coming over we shall see been reading and researching in depth. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hey Greg, welcome to you.

My only advice would be to start earlier than you think.

Pork butts can surprise you pretty badly.

It's a lot easier to hold it cooked than to make it cook

faster if you're behind.

Have fun with it.
