Huntersville, NC
I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Andy from Huntersville, NC, just north of Charlotte. I just found this message board and am really glad I did. I'll be picking your brains before long. I am, as we speak working on my 2nd smoke of my career. The 1st was done on a Brinkmann electric smoker (converted to electric from charcol) and it didnt turn out well. I assume it was the combination of the outside temp, smoker and user error. I currently have 2 butts on a Perfect Flame propane cabinet type smoker and am planning on chopping them up in a few minutes. Wish me luck!

Welcome to SMF, Andy. Glad to have you and we'll definitely try to help you improve those smokes. To start, sign up for Jeff's free 5-day eCourse on smoking meat.
