New smoker from southeast Florida

Hey there, new member here.

I've posted already a few times, and after a 20+ year hiatus started I smoking again and am in full swing! Thanks to this site I was able to get my smoker in good order quickly and get back into smoking without unexpected frustration.

Luckily I live far enough inland for some protection from the major ferocity of hurricanes and still benefit from an occasional offshore breeze. I'm looking forward to reading more how to tips, recipes and gear chat.

I'm in central Fl, right in the middle of the state, Sebring. Moved here 11 years ago from Ft. Laud., was there for 35 years, so I know about hurricanes.
