Hi All,

Been wanting a smoker for a long time now, finally the wife got me one for my B-day. Masterbuilt Cookmaster, yes it's the low end one but hey I got one. Smoked my first pork ribs this weekend and they where delicious fall off the bone kind. I know after reading it shouldn't do that but that's the way we like them. Also figured out in cooler temps and breezy with the inexpensive smoker I will be building a smoke house shelter or the weather will be shutting me down had trouble keeping a 225 degree temp, ran out to get some hot water heater wrap and quickly climbed to over 300 oops to hot. :) everything worked out great for the fist try.

Thanks,

Scorchy725

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a very nice day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Hey, if that's the way ya'll like them, then by all means enjoy. Food is like music, it's all quite personal and there's no absolute right or wrong and tastes change over time. All part of the human experience.

Smoke on!!
