New smoker from Florida

Hi all,

New to smoking foods and I've got an MES 30". Just had to get one after eating some of the meals my father-in-law cooked on his. After going thru the awesome information on this site I went ahead and got an AMNPS too. It a lot nicer than using the wood chips with the MES. Looking forward to trying to cold smoke some cheese with it.

Quick question for anyone that looks at this. A friend has a Bradley Cold Smoke Adapter he isn't using. Would this be something that an AMNPS could be put in to cold smoke stuff and move the AMNPS outside of the MES 30"? Like the mailbox mod.

I have the 2nd gen MES 30" and the AMNPS just doesn't seem to fit or work right in it unless it is taking up a shelf.

Welcome to SMF glad you joined us. What part of FL you in I'm outside Tallahassee but originally from central FL. Sorry but I can't help with the mod your asking about if you don't get an answer before long start a new thread in the Electric Smoker section and ask it there you should get an answer or ten there
