New Smoker - First Smoke - BB Ribs & Chicken

  1. My first attempt was great. My temps fluctuated quite a bit, but got it under control.

    My new smoker...


    I rubbed the ribs with Memphis Dust


    Smoked them over apple wood chunks


    I did the 2-2-1 method. I brushed them with Sweet Baby Rays sauce and threw some hickory on during the last hour to give the sauce a little smoke flavor. They were awesome and cooked to perfection. My leg quarters turned out great and left everyone wanting more, so we may do them tomorrow.


    And the chicken quarters...
