new smoker advice.

hello people. first post here. i am looking to buy a new smoker and its between the yoder kingman and the lang 48 patio deluxe. ive read langs are great but the workmanship and welding is not so good.this is a big purchase and want to make the right choice would love some help. thanks

Don't know much about the Yoder, but I'm personally planning to go with exactly that model of Lang sometime in the next year. Never heard of anyone anywhere being disappointed with a Lang.

both will be fine. nothing is ever perfect and if it defective enough that it prevents cooking i'm sure both would have warranties. check into the return policies.

the big difference is one is a reverse flow smoker and the other is an offset. that could be the biggest decision point.

i like the lang more. reverse flow and with the warming box. but that just me :)
