Hi all I recently purchased a GMG Daniel Boone and it is my first smoker I am very new to smoking food so I'm sure you'll see more of me around the forums. I'm from South Dakota and before my smoker I grilled year round so I plan to be smoking year round ha. Anyways I'm glad to be apart of the forums!

Welcome to the forum.  You're gonna like the versatility of that pellet smoker/grill.  Got my PelletPro last June and been going non-stop.

Enjoy!

Welcome Donny. I am sure that you will be very pleased with it - I have its baby brother the Davy Crockett as one of my smokers.

Take some time to search the site as there is a lot of good information here on adjusting the wind plates for best temperature management and how to avoid hot spots within the coking chamber.

Don't forget to upload some photos of it in action for us.
