New method for ribs

  1. I've been trying new techniques. All the BBQ rubs I've tried haven't satisfied me. I found that I really don't like paprika which is escencially a main ingredient in a lot of rubs. When cooking ribs you don't taste the rub at the end, especially if you do the 3,2,1 method. I went back to a basic rub. The following is what I've been cooking with for the last few months.
    4 Tbs Kosher salt
    2 Tbs course black pepper
    2 Tbs lemon pepper
    1 Tbs onion powder
    1 Tbs garlic powder
    1 tsp Accent seasoning

  2. I've used it on pork chops and chicken;

  3. I'm using 1 part white vinegar mixed with 3 parts Regular Coke as the spray.

  4. I'll wrap with butter, honey, brown sugar and more rub.
