Howdy guys!

I am from Chaska, Minnesota.  I have been a Green Egg guy for the last 5 years.  I like the thought of trying a simpler way of smoking with the MES Bluetooth.  I have been lurking for awhile but thought it might be nice to sign up.

I was speaking with someone today about electric smokers and he advised me to be cautious not to oversmoke. He said the GreenEgg has a natural draft that comes through that keeps the smoke and heat moving through the vents. I have an AMNS do you think that may cause oversmoking in my MES?

Thanks,

Mike

The MES is basically suppose to be run with the vent wide open.  You should have no problem with over smoking as long as you aren't doing anything abnormal like running 3 AMNPS generators or something else really out of the way.

I use an AMNPS with the mailbox mod and never had any issues.  You should be fine, don't let someone else who doesn't have an MES spook you :)
