Hi guys. I had a friend turn me on to your site. I'm brand new to smoking, so I'm sure I'll be back to ask tons of questions, as well as share my successes and failures. I live and work NW of Atlanta. Thanks for hosting such an informative

site.  I can't wait to get started with my smoker, and find out how creative I can get with all of the different methods that are available.

Welcome, jdar! Back in my military days, I spent a few years in the Roswell area. Probably not too far from where you are. I grew up just outside of Athens in a town called Jefferson. But, enough about me, welcome to SMF! And thanks for the compliment on my cheeseburgers earlier!
