Hello I'm totally new to smoking, actually I'm doing my first smoke right now has I type this, I bought a ok joe longhorn 3 burner this week and with the help of this forum I did the mods before my first smoke! I sealed the doors, RTV the fire box to the grill and the two half a together and also replaced the gauges, and made a charcoal basket out of expandable metal from lowes. And so far almost 4 hrs in on my spare ribs it has held a perfect 225 using the minion method. I've learned and did all this in one week!! Love this forum thank you all and here's to many more smokes!!
