  1. Hi Folks, I am John T and am new to the forum.  I have been a Weber gas guy for years and just purchased a Traeger Century Smoker from Costco a couple of days ago.  Just finished a 4# Brisket yesterday with hickory pellets.  Very good!  I paniced durning the stall as I had guests coming for dinner.  I upped the temp and before I knew it it was 206 degrees and a bit dry.  Can't wait to try pork tenderloin.

    I really enjoy reading all the posts.

    I'm also a weber gas guy who just ventured over to a weber charcoal smoker. Good luck with your Traeger! Patience is key. The stall is a good time to "marinate you liver"😉 I stole that from Spainglish.

  4. Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
    About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
    and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
    We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
    Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
    because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
