Hi, this is my first time on this forum, I have no experience in smoking foods. I am looking to build an electric smoker with a Smokai Smoke Generator. I an gathering the parts be fore I start. I will post pictures of all equipment before they are assembled, and would be keen to hear ANY feedback before I make to many mistakes!

This will have a electric heater element to heat cabinet, with the Smokai to Generate the smoke. More of this later.

One question to the admistrator, how do I post onto the forum?

Thanks. Smokin Monkey

Hello SmokinMonkey and welcome to the fun.  I you look toward the top of this page you will see Forum Nav: and a drop down menu.  Use the drop down to chose the forum you want to post in and then click go.  Click on the first post you come to in that forum and just below the title you will see a button marked start a new thread.  Click on that and you are off and running.  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!
