Hey, I'm from memphis, tn and I've been cooking for years on a brinkman barrel type charcoal smoker. Just bought a masterbuilt duel fuel 2 door smoker. I've read about the mods I need to make on the smoker, but haven't seen much in the way of info using charcoal. Most seem to use gas. Anybody got any tips?

Welcome to the Forums!  Glad you found us.  This is a great place to learn and share ideas on our favorite pastime...smoking and grilling great food!  There are lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Any time you need help, just ask and you'll get plenty!

I don't know much about your smoker...you'll probably have better luck asking tips over in the gas or charcoal smokers forums.  I'll bet there are guys over there who know your rig.

Good luck!
