Hello, Smokey. Glad to have in the Flock , we're like Family here, we all help each other when needed.

Here's a good finishing sauce for the Butt:http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/51933/soflaquers-finishing-sauce-for-pulled-pork\

As for the next smoke , may I suggest doing more Butts and Chicken before you try a Brisket. They take a lot of patience and time. Butts are long on stalls, but Butts are more forgiving than Briskets.

Once you do a consistent Butt or Chicken , then go to a Brisket. Although Brisket Chili is good, it's ashmed to use a whole Brisky just to be able to eat it ; sad but true.

Practice is your friend , do cheaper cuts until you get ready for the challenge.

Meanwhile, have fun here and . . .

We did smoke a Briskett for Memorial Day and it was absouluty wonderful juices flowing pure goodness meat so tender sliced like butter. I got my rub from the top ten for I picked 3 it was delicious !! Thanks for the help what do you all think I should smoke next we have always smoked butt so send some good ideas please something New
