I am receiving a Smoky Mountain LP smoker for Christmas. I am an avid camper and saw some folks set up their LP smoker and go off this past summer and love the idea of smoking at the campsite. I am no rookie to grilling but this is a learning curve. Being from the deep south I have eaten smoked meat my entire life and consider it, "Staple Food" Look forward to learning this art. First item up for me is a Turkey Breast as I love smoked turkey.

Enjoy the holidays!

I have already learned many things reading through the many reference materials. Thanks for the warm welcome. I plan on burning off the smoker on Christmas afternoon.

Dang, I missed this intro! Welcome Gypsy! Hey did ya know the Gypsies were primarily displaced Hungarian/Slovak people seeking asylum from the war-torn and civil troubled central Europe upheavals?

Welcome from another Floridian on the west coast. Lots to learn on SMF, let me know if you have any questions. I'll be doing a boneless turkey breast myself real soon. Heck, I have taken my ECB with me camping several times, set it up and gone fishing.
