Cameron Wisconsin
Hello, my name is Ryan Sedani, I am from Cameron Wisconsin. I am currently using a home made uds for smoking, and I use a "flip-flop" grill for cooking chicken (can't be beat in my opinion). I am fairly new to bbq as I have only been doing it for about a year and a half seriously. I love it and my friends seem to like my hobby too (can't for the life of figure out why they like it so much [emoji]129300[/emoji][emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]127995[/emoji]). I currently want to build a new smoker I'm just not sure on what style. I like reverse flow but I like the insulated vertical style for our cold Wisconsin winters since I grill and smoke all year round, after all it's only a little bit of snow (1-4 feet) and just a bit chilly (up to -40 with wind chill). But I love the capacity and concept of a rotisserie. Needless to say I can't make my mind up. Maybe I should build an insulated rotisserie. Anyway that's a little bit about me, I love this forum it has given me so many ideas that my wife just says build one and stick with it [emoji]128556[/emoji][emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]127995[/emoji].

Hello and welcome to you Ryan.

Looks like you've got a heckuva start on it.

My vote goes to an insulated smoker.

Particularly because of your location.

It's just a lot easier to make temps. when it's

really cold out.

Jump right out into the forums and ask questions.

You will get answers.

Enjoy and most of all HAVE FUN.
