Hello everyone. Stumbled across this site and glad I did. Looking to get into Smokin Meat. Mastered my Weber grill pretty well - can even do a bit of smoking with chip trays and the like.

Found the Smokin-it brand and it seems close to what I would like. Trying to decide between the #1 and #2. Usually just 2 to 4 people is who I cook for. Will post a question over in the Smokin-it forums to get some help.

Thanks - Jim

Welcome aboard Jim. There are several members from Oregon here that has the Smokin it Smokers. I looked at getting one and for me I felt that the #3 would do what I was wanting to do with it. Unfortunately funds didn't allow me to move forward, so I am building my own electric smoker.
