Hello all!
I have been reading this site for a long time and decided it is time to join and try to contribute to the group.
A little bit about us. My wife and I live 3/4 of the time in Spokane, WA and the rest of the time in Preist River, ID. All of the kids have moved out, and only moved back in a couple of times:biggrin: so our plan is to move to Preist River full time someday, hence my screen name. I got the bbq bug about 5 years ago and have really started experiment with all sorts of different things from low & slow to hot and fast. I get much of my inspiration from this group and bbq pit boys and have found this site to be very helpful no matter what a person's skill level. When time allows, our neighbors have come to expect Sunday afternoon dinner at our house to try my latest "experiment". Most of those meals have turned out good, a few have been exceptional and a couple have been absolute failures, oh well live and learn. A small Sunday dinner is 4 - 5 people but typically we have 15 - 20 so I have a lot of people to offend if I screw up. In Spokane we have a 10+ year old trager with the smoke daddy PID upgrade and insulation blanket. In Idaho we just bought a Green Mountian Grill last weekend and I cooked pulled pork for 20 which was a disaster (think ham chunks as it wouldn't shred). It is going to take some trail and error to figure out the GMG. I also just got the Igrill II this week so will be trying it tonight on brisket. I am also in the process of building a vertical reverse flow smoker using the Smoke Daddy pellet hopper. It will have room for ten 20 pound briskest (2 per rack) and I plan to use it to sell brisket sandwiches at our Preist River community events to raise money for the local charity foundation. We both still work full time but in our spare time we like to travel (San Diego & Hawaii being our favorite places) fish, boat and off-road to interesting places. Oh and cigars and small batch whiskers. Okay maybe that part is just me and not the wifeThumbs Up
Reading this site has been VERY educational and I thank all of you for the excellent information and guidance you continue to provide.

I have some experience, some good some really bad with a lot to learn from this group. But I have fun with bbqing and it is a great stress reliever even when things go wrong.
