Hi everyone - just joined the forums today, looking forward to being part of the group and sharing info with all the experts here!  This site has been invaluable to me over the years researching cookers, drooling over BBQ pics, etc.

A little about me - I'm from Orlando, FL (Oviedo actually), with a wife and 2 kids, and am a BBQ fanatic.  I smoked for years on an old 18.5 WSM, loved it.  The wife set me up with a large BGE last Christmas that sees grilling 2-3 times per week and usually an extended smoke session each weekend.

I'm a big brisket and pulled pork guy, but do ribs/chicken quite a bit as well, mainly for family and guests - although had 28 people over for Thanksgiving a couple weeks ago and did 2 18 lb turkeys and a ham on the WSM, old Kettle and the Egg!!

Looking to move to a stick burner in the near future to supplement the arsenal, but also have been looking at the Stumps and Backwoods just to give a little more capacity than the BGE.

Happy to be part of the forum, look forward to interacting with all of you!

EEK !!!  Another soul from Orlando. Well actually glad you are out of the city anyway. Oviedo-ville. That's what we use to call it, back when Twin Lakes was nothing but Two Lakes. Great camping spot near the St. Johns River. I lived over in WP, near Lakemont and Palmer area.  At any rate, welcome aboard. Look forward to some future smokes.

You are going to fit in just fine..

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

P.S.  Just to get stomachs growling, here's a snap of some BGE ribs from the weekend.
