Aother newbie today to the site from Ontario, Canada.  I am a strict carnivore and have been grilling for years but just about to try my hand at smoking.  For grilling I have been using a Napoleon Prestige PRO 600 bbq for about 4 years and just love it.  I use this grill all year round, yes even when the snow is flying, which has been often this past winter.  Now I'm in the market for a wood burning smoker. I like the look of the Treager wood pellet smoker can anyone give me some advice.  A couple of times every summer I host about 25 family and close friends to a Meatfest in my backyard and the smoker would be a great addition to this event.

Hello and Welcome to our addiction.  A word of warning: There is no 12 step program for this one!  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!
