I was at a friends home and had some wings smoked in his traeger grill and so I had to have one.  I bought one the next day from costco on line and received it in a couple days.   I was away at a buddys home in North Carolina who has been smoking meats in a large industrial smoker for a long time and he gave me some recipes.

My first experience.... I smoked 2 pork butts  14 pounds total for pulled pork....the recipe was much like meoweys (read in forum)  except I injected them with a mixture of apple cider vinegar, apple juice,  worcestershire sauce and brown sugar....

The pork came out fantastic!!!!   now I am hooked and have done 1 more butt since and always do salmon in the traeger!!!

I am happy to join this forum and look forward to new recipes etc.!!
