Hello from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

I'm not new to smoking or grilling. I personally prefer using wood/charcoal over propane for both. Although I own both kinds for grilling, I only have a small, cheap "Smoke House" propane smoker from Cabellas. It's time to build something that is larger (but has a smallish footprint), insulated (gets -30C here), wood fired and on a budget.

I have been reading these forums quite a bit and gathering some extremely useful information. I figured it was time to join when I ended up with questions that I couldn't find the answers to. I will start a thread on this a little later.

Cheers!

EDIT:
This is a link to my build questions.

Thanks for the welcome. It's been about a decade since I've been to T-Bay...Usually the farthest I go is around the Kenora area.
