Just found your site while surfing other BBQ sites. Just got my hands on a freebie (can't beat that right) Masterbuilt 7 in 1 propane/charcoal unit.

The unit was missing the top handle (just fashioned a new one) and also missing one of the cooking grates (added a pizza pan which has holes in it). Looking at making a few more mods (like covering that huge hole in the bottom if I'm using charcoal). I'll report back.

Looking forward to my first smoke...before I do it though, I'm reading lots and will be posting some questions soon.

If you're from Toronto as well, make sure you post in here... Perhaps we'll do some cross smoking and share notes and suppliers in Toronto (we're so deprived of BBQ up here)!

PS I'm a good griller and cook already so I'm looking forward to expanding my horizons. I love a good low and slow BBQ - every time I'm in the US, I look for a local BBQ joint.
