Hello all, my name is Mike and I live in Southern NJ. I am a new member but not new to this site, I have one word for this site

"Awesome". I am on this site a lot researching. This is a great place to be if you smoking and the members are a good bunch,Thanks.

I have grilled for many years and a little bit of smoking on one of those small offset smokers. I'm not bad but I am ready to build an reverse smoker. I have read and heard so much about these smokers. Everything I see I think "oh that would make a nice smoker".

I got it bad and watching BBQ Pittmasters 24/7 only adds fuel to the fire. It is time to build so I will need help. My goal is to eventually build a 250 or 300 gal propane tank smoker when I can find one.

This week I found a 120 gal propane tank for $10.00 so this will be my first build. I will take some pics and post them. I know I will need help on my next step which is is to get this tank cleaned out on the inside, prepped and ready to cut.

Hey Thanks I am happy to be a member and look forward to my first build.

Thanks a lot Red. Where can I go on this site to learn how to post with pics for a new build. I just tried to post for a 120 gal RF smoker build, loaded some pics of my tank and asked for some advice on cleaning and prepping. My comp. went crazy, I had to shut it down and start again. I guess it had something to do with my pics.

Thanks mike
