Hey guys, I've been creeping around this site for a while now, and thought I should introduce myself. I'm Ryan from MN. I am relatively new to smoking meat, and have used a cheap Brinkmann drum style smoker. It works fine for just me and the little lady in the summer, but would like to move to a propane model to be able to use in the winter.

I noticed quite a few of you from MN have the GOSM big block. Where did you find it? From the research I have done it looks like BassProShop is the only place to buy it-and there isn't one in MN that I know of. I guess internet order would work, but shipping gets pretty spendy.

Any thoughts?

Ryan welcome to SMF glad you decided to join the party. The last I knew Walmart carried the GOSM's not sure if they still do or not or which models they carry

Propane smokers are not usually insulated, and in our "FREEKING COLD" winter months, you'll need something that's insulated.

Lots of guys on here from Minnesota.
