I've been outdoor cooking for bout 30 years. Learned on a char-broil model 940 with smoker box. Bout 10 years ago moved the 940 to hunt camp & got a chargriller with sfb. 4 years ago got a Vermont Castings gasser for fathers day. 2 years ago got a MES for xmas. 2 months ago got a New Braunfels el dorado (no longer made found one at acadamy sports that they had put together and bent. since parts not available the let me have for 50% off i could'nt resist. Our hunt camp has a homemade barrel smoker with a cooking area 24 in. by 50 in. no sfb we use indirect when smoking but its so big works out fine. We cook a lot of game and fish, a lot of butts since they are still affordable. I've learned their"s lot of ways to smoke a butt & " to every cooker there is a season "
