Hello all. Just bought a new Oklahoma Joe Highland smoker and I am looking for info on how to maintain a long duration smoke and taking care of my new smoker so as to get max life out of it.

First of all, keep it out of the weather when you aren't using it. Clean it out after every use (fire box & chamber). Modify it with tuning tuning plates and gaskets. They leak heat around the door seams. Don't count on the door thermometer that came with it.
